Diggory grunted as he was battered by a small smash of water on the slightly chilly day. He was currently on Route 218; it was a small route divided in the middle by a large body of water; apparently this route connected from Canalve to Jubilife. He needed to get across the water. Thankfully a gentleman with a rowboat offered him a ride he gladly accepted since he wasn’t going to be swimming across. Nightshade his Zorua sat nestled on his right shoulder giving the rowboat owner a glare the entire time.[break][break]
The rower then piped up “Well then son I suppose you’re gonna be taking on the gym challenge,” the older man asked. Diggory looked at the man in the eyes with the usual blank expression on his face and dull look in his eyes. “Not, sure,” he answered quickly and succinctly in a monotone voice to the Rower. [break][break]
It was the truth he had no clue what he wanted to do yet just that he wanted to go on a journey, he just didn’t know what that adventure would entail just yet. The Rower winced at his tone of voice, still not used to it as of yet. They then sat for the rest of the trip in silence, only the splashing of water from the Rowboat paddle slamming into the water. Then after nearly an hour of waiting the boardwalk on the other side of Route 218, the Rower then gave a sigh of relief that he would not have to site awkwardly with the black haired youth any longer. “Thank you very much, I’ll be off now,” Diggory said, then showing some impressive athleticism and jumped up onto the boardwalk with relative ease. He didn’t even say goodbye to the rowboat owner, the elder man just sighed and muttered to himself about kids these days. There on the horizon he saw Jubilife City it’s large skyscrapers could almost give Realgam Tower a Run for its money…almost. Though then Nightshade who had been silently sitting on his shoulder started growling as she jumped down to the ground protectively in front of her Trainer.
