"Just keep a watch out, okay, Orion? We'll be fine. But we've gotta be in this spot so that I can get the perfect landscape photo!" [break][break]

A young girl stood in the middle of a grove of tall grass in the outskirts of Floroma town. Sunset was fast approaching; the perfect time to take a picture that composed the colorful skies with the vibrant flowers below would only last a few minutes. [break][break]

Estelle was well-aware of this, and had taken it upon herself to venture out to try to get a beautiful photo. She held a digital camera between her hands and came down to a knee, positioning herself to take a photo. Although this was the best position to take an all-encompassing shot of the area, it was a precarious spot; a Pokemon could jump out at her at any time. [break][break]

So, Estelle had her partner Pokemon on guard. Orion, her Sylveon, stood at her side, warily keeping his eyes out for any sign of movement from the grass around them. [break][break]

Orion began to pace between Estelle's legs, clearly anxious about the spot they were situated in. He had vocalized his complaints the entire journey, failing to understand why Estelle wanted to get this photo so badly, and here, of all places. [break][break]

The young trainer adjusted the aperture of her camera. She was almost ready. Sunset had dawned on the flowery plains of Floroma; now was the time to take the perfect shot! "Just a few moments, Orion! I'll be done in a minute." [break][break]

The feelers suspended from Orion's body twitched. He narrowed his eyes; they didn't have a minute to spare. [break][break]

Suddenly, a booming shockwave blew its way toward the two. Orion jumped onto Estelle's back and tackled her, forcing her to duck and avoid the abrupt attack. [break][break]

Estelle grunted and fell to the grass. She managed to keep her camera in hand, however. [break][break]

"Wah! What was that?" [break][break]

Orion began to growl. [break][break]

"A Pokemon." [break][break]

The Sylveon turned to face the direction the attack came from. The two saw two distinct ears poking out from the grass before them; they looked a lot like... speakers? [break][break]

"A Loudred? I wouldn't have expected to see one out here," Estelle gasped. [break][break]

"Are you alright?" Orion asked, though he did not break his eye-contact with the approaching Pokemon. The Loudred appeared grumpy, stomping its feet as it came closer. Had they disturbed it? [break][break]

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for having my back," Estelle replied, slowly getting back up to her feet. "It looks like we're going to have to battle. Let's go, Swift!" [break][break]

Estelle's Pokemon heeded her command. Orion dashed forward and jumped into the air. Floating yellow energy gathered around its body before morphing into the shape of stars. In a swift movement, Orion turned his head, commanding the stars to rain down on his opponent. [break][break]

The Loudred was battered with stars. It wasn't quite enough to deter it, though. It set its mouth agape and let out a horrific cry, the power of the roar reverberating in the air around them. The power of the move forced Orion back onto the ground. He was a little injured, but not ready to give up. [break][break]

"Bite!" [break][break]

Orion bore his fangs that were now coated with a dark-purple energy. He dashed forward and opened it mouth before clenching down on one of Loudred's arms. [break][break]

"Pokeball, now!" Orion grumbled, struggling to keep the wild Pokemon from trashing its arm about to free itself. [break][break]

"R-Right!" Estelle exclaimed. She reached for her pocket and retrieved a Pokeball. The moment she tossed it, Orion let go of the Loudred. [break][break]

The Pokeball successfully absorbed its target. It swayed to the side once, and then twice. [break][break]

Estelle held her breath in anticipation. Orion stood guard at her side, just in case the Loudred broke free. [break][break]

Click! [break][break]

"Phew," said Estelle, exhaling as if the weight of the world had just been lifted off her shoulders, "that was a close one..." [break][break]

She walked up to the Pokeball and stowed it to her side. [break][break]

"Thank you for protecting me, Orion," She said to the Sylveon. She looked to the sky and grinned. "Come on! It's not too late to take a photo!" [break][break]
